Jon Brinkmeyer leaves Summit Wrestling being one of the most decorated wrestlers in program history. His accomplishments include, but are not limited to 150 career wins, 72 career pins, 27 pins in a season which are all school records. He is Summit’s first 4x state qualifier, a 2x district champion, and he topped it off with a 6th place state medal.

Drew Lance has 114 career wins with 53 pins. Led the team with 83 takedowns in a season filled with victories vs. the eventual state champion during the regular season.


Abram Reynolds  Place:  6

Class:  3

Abram Reynolds continued to improve each match as the year progressed, won a hard fought battle in the first round of the state tournament to place 6th. He is Summit’s first medalist at heavyweight.

2009


Faud Aaden  Place:  6

Class:  4A

Fuad lost his first match at state then won three close matches in a row to make the medal rounds.


Chris Jennings  Place:  3
Weight Class:  189
Class:  4A

Chris lost his quarterfinal match in overtime vs. the eventual state champion then won out the rest of the way finishing his career with an ultimate tiebreaker win vs. Farmington. He leaves as the career leader in wins and pins for the Falcons.

2008


Michael Baer  Place:  4

Class:  3

Michael became Summit’s first freshman state medalist en route to breaking the all time team points records with 291.

2007


Tony Acinelli  Place:  6
Weight Class:  130
Class:  3

Tony lost his first match at the state tournament, then won three matches in a row in the wrestle backs to place.

2005


Abbas Emamjome  Place:  6
Weight Class:  112
Class:  3

Abbas became Summit's first underclassman to medal at the state tournament. Lost his first round match then won three wrestle back matches to medal.


Nick Schiro  Place:  5
Weight Class:  130
Class:  3

Nick ended his career by not only winning his last match but also gaining 100 career wins.

2004


Corey Simons  Place:  6

Class:  3

Corey became Summit's second sectional champion and then capped off his prep career with an excellent state tournament.

2002

Kevin finished off an injury plagued season his senior year to medal.

2000

Greg still is the only Summit Falcon to ever wrestle in the state finals. Holds team record for most takedowns in a season and career

Matt holds school record for both season and career wins Wrestled for Missouri Baptist University and became Summit's first National Qualifier in 2005. Congratulations Matt! Matt has joined the Summit Wrestling coaching staff for the 2005-2006 season.
